CLUB MEETINGS
Last updated: 02.06.2008

Our club meetings take place at 8 pm on the first Wednesday of each month in room 301 at Mary Immaculate college in Limerick.
(Just double check with the receptionist in the lobby in case of a change on the night.)

Meetings are an informal get together, all levels of interest are catered for, from absolute beginner to the professional!
Our format usually takes the form of, a presentation on a projector by one of our club members of the highlights in the coming months sky
and any questions relating to this are welcome.

Then usually we have a brief 'news section' in which we discuss any new astronomical discoveries or events of interest and offer a Q& A on this.
Finally we have a (usually) visiting speaker give a presentation on a topic....
(see below)

If you have a telescope and are having difficulty or need advice getting a new telescope,
you are welcome to come along to the club meetings and seek our advice.
If you cannot make it to a club meeting, you can always drop us an email, we will do out best to answer any questions you may have.
(go to the club section and email any of us from there)
